At Vinára, we use fresh ingredients grown and raised in Nara, including local vegetables, Yamato beef, and Yamato chicken.
We carefully select ingredients that are at their best each season, allowing their natural flavors to shine.
By combining the character of Nara’s ingredients with European cooking techniques, we create dishes that are simple, memorable, and full of warmth.
Free-Spirited European Cuisine Shaped in Osaka, Hakone, and the Czech Republic
Our owner-chef built his culinary experience at Brasserie Monochrome in Tennoji, Trattoria Al Sodo in Nakanoshima, and Auberge Ren in Hakone, now known as Bistronomie octobre.
He later served as the official residence chef at the Embassy of Japan in the Czech Republic, preparing meals for guests from around the world.
Drawing on these experiences, Vinára offers European cuisine that is not limited to one country or style.
Authentic yet relaxed, refined yet approachable — our dishes are made for both special occasions and everyday moments of quiet indulgence in Nara.
